Clothes, cocktails and canapes...

At the beginning of the month I was fortunate enough to be invited to Branded Lab's Spring/Summer 2015 showcase at Manchester's Rosylee Tearooms.

With rails and rails of their brand's new ranges we were all asked to take part in a style challenge - putting together our favourite outfit to be in with a chance of winning it.

Having to choose between NaaNaa's playsuits and Damned Delux's tops was tricky to say the least (helped slightly by the mini desserts on offer and a few tasty cocktails).

A great night in the perfect venue, despite the rain outside the clothes still managed to get me very excited for summer...

Hello 2015...

We're officially 2 days in to 2015 and I already feel like it's going to be a good year - that may have something to do with the fact that I haven't started back at work yet but I'm being optimistic in hoping that's not the case.

NYE was spent hosting our first proper house party in Manchester and it was the best New Years I've had in a long time. After some pre-party panics about nobody turning up, and last minute shopping trips for beer pong essentials (ping-pong balls are impossible to find), everything ran pretty smoothly - I'd even say the party was just about worth the state of our house the following day.

Now, I've not yet managed to start any of my New Year's resolutions but I'm saving them for Monday...
